A few years ago when I was relatively new to photography and just getting to grips with what I liked and didn't like, I soon realised that i loved photographing people and so I started a Strangers project.
The idea of this project is to approach strangers on the street and ask them for a portrait. Not a sly, secret portrait, a proper, permission given, posed portrait. It's harder than it sounds.
My original intention was to make it a 100 Strangers project but I got a few knock backs early on and lost my confidence. I intend to try again some time in the future, but for now, here are the ones I did manage to get.
