I've featured this pic a few times in some of my blog posts but never as a #picoftheweek
Newquay is Cornwall can be a busy place and has a certain reputation for being a bit of a party town, but at the end of one of the headlands just outside the town is Pentire Point. To the right of the point is Fistral Bay and the other Newquay beaches and to the left is the river Gannel and Crantock beach. It's a beatiful spot and even more wonderful at sunset.
For this shot I had to climb out on to the rocks a little bit to get the angle I was looking for. I used a #Lee #LittleStopper to slow down the shutter and get the nice silky water. I love the effect of the white waves breaking arounf the rocks.
