A few months ago I started posting a monthly image. One of my images that I have taken at any time, anywhere, posted once a month with a bit of a description.
This monthly posting has become popular so I've decided to change it now to post a pic a week.
This week's pic comes, as do a lot of my images, from Cornwall. A few years ago I was lucky enough to spend some time at the superb Headland Hotel in Newquay. A little out the way of the main town, the Headland sits on the headland by Fistral Bay.
This gave me a perfect opportunity to venture out in the evenings onto the rocks by Little Fistral and capture sunset images. This is one of my favourites.

Using a 10 stop Lee Big Stopper filter, with an ISO of 200 and at f22, I was able to slow the shutter speed, using bulb mode, a timer and a remote shutter release, right down to 32 seconds.
The final edit isn't much different to the original RAW file, just added a touch of clarity to the foreground rocks and a bit of cropping.
I hope you like it.
